My preschoolers have recently been obsessed with rainbows! We took a whole week to learn more about rainbows, how they’re made, and the orders the colors go in. ROYGBIV, for life, y’all! We even made an adorable mathematics equation about rainbows, which also introduces them to those math terms they’ll hear later in their school life. Rain drops + sun light = rainbows!
During our studies on rainbows, they were extremely interested in making rainbow crafts. I can’t say that I blame them because they are bright and beautiful! This Rainbow Sponge Painting is no exception.
This rainbow painting is great for a general study on rainbows, or even makes a wonderful St. Patty’s Day craft!
