My faith is at the forefront of everything I do, and that is no exception at Christmastime. And my love for Advent is greater than any other love. The waiting and the anticipation of the coming of Jesus.
But, that’s hard for a kid to understand. Especially if you’re the parent of a child between the ages of 3-6. I feel it’s incredibly important to keep Jesus at the center of all Christmas celebrations, but how can we share the story of Jesus in “kid-language”? That’s where these Printable Advent Cards for Kids come in. I created these to help you tell the story of the world’s greatest.
I want your kids to be captivated by Jesus. I want them to understand the reason we all celebrate Christmas. Kids are all about celebrating birthdays, and I want them to know that we are celebrating the biggest birthday of them all: Jesus.
Printable Advent For Kids
My prayer for these Advent cards is that they tell the story of the birth of Jesus in a way your preschooler can understand. Christmas is about Jesus, and sometimes Jesus is hard for kids to grasp. May these cards bring you and your little one closer this holiday season as you tell the story of Jesus with help from these cards. Print them, read them, talk about them, hang them in your home, or even fold them and stick them in a little Advent calendar. Read one each day and enjoy the reason for this season!
I would love to see these Advent Cards at use and being loved in your home. Share a picture of social media and tag me @elemenopkids (Facebook) or @ericaelemenopkids (Instagram). Please use the hashtag #LMNOPkidsAdvent so I can find your pictures!
Merry Christmas!
